A: Date

Crown:
1: Normal position.
2: Position for setting date.
3: Position for setting time. In this position the second hand ceases to move, to allow the exact time to be set.

Water resistance


As stated on the back of the case, all Montblanc watches are water resistant to 30 m; the Sports Collection is water resistant to 200 m. After contact with salt water, it is recommended to clean the case carefully using freshwater and a soft cloth. Watches should be tested for water resistance every two years, or when the battery is changed, by an authorised Montblanc Service Center.

Chronograph Quartz


A: Hour hand
B: Minute hand
C: Subsidiary seconds dial (independent of chronograph function)
D: Chronograph second hand
E: Chronograph 1/10 second counter (10/10 second)
F: Chronograph minute counter (30 minutes)
G: Date

Crown


1: Normal position.
2: Position for quick adjustment of time zones, including adjustment of the date by winding the watch on by 24 hours. The chronograph minute counter is started using the pusher at 4 o’clock (P2).
3: Position for setting the time. In this position the subsidiary second hand ceases to move, to allow the exact time to be set. The chronograph second hand is started using the pusher at 2 o’clock (P1), and the chronograph 1/10 second counter is started using the pusher at 4 o’clock (P2).
