Montblanc Cultural Foundation

The Montblanc culture sponsoring project Montblanc Cultural Foundation, established in 1998, works closely with the Hamburg Gallery of Contemporary Art.

Every 2 years, Montblanc donates contemporary works of art to this institution which represent and reflect the Montblanc philosophy in the widest sense. These works are displayed in the Montblanc Art Gallery for two years before moving permanently to the Gallery of Contemporary Art.

Following the room installation "Gran Paradiso II" by the Munich artist Stephan Huber, the light installation "Untitled 2000" by the American artist Jorge Pardo, and the bronze sculpture "Frau Nr. 9" ("Woman No. 9") by artist Thomas Schütte, the current work in the Montblanc Gallery is the painting “Fatifa” by the German artist Daniel Richter.
